A group calling itself Concerned Citizens of Ghana has withdrawn its petition demanding a probe into the alleged unlawful involvement of an unlicensed individual in GoldBod Ghana’s operations. The group stated that the matter is now before the courts. In a letter dated 8th January 2026, addressed to the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) and the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), the citizens formally retracted their earlier allegations against Mr Roger Frimpong Kwakye and his company, Goldstrom.
