The Buffalo City Metro (BCM) council has resolved to challenge several ward boundary changes proposed by the Municipal Demarcation Board (MDB), after strong opposition from residents and councillors.
While the council accepted some of the changes, it objected to others and wants specific wards to remain as they were after the 2021 demarcation, with minor alterations made to some wards only to balance voter numbers.
