The Judicial Services Commission has resolved that there are reasonable grounds to suspect that Judge Portia Phahlane – who has been accused of accepting bribes to rule in favour of a party in a civil matter – is guilty of gross misconduct, and it wants a tribunal appointed to investigate the complaint.
