Embattled National Freedom Party member and KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Social Development, Mbali Shinga, has suffered a legal setback after the KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Pietermaritzburg on Tuesday paved the way for party president Ivan Barnes to be sworn in as a member of the provincial legislature.
