The Judicial Conduct Committee has ordered KwaZulu-Natal High Court Judge Elsje-Marie Bezuidenhout to apologise in writing after finding that she committed a grossly negligent breach of the Code of Judicial Conduct by taking nearly a year to provide reasons in a matter that was before her on an urgent basis.
