Relief for Kenyans: MPs reject proposal to introduce VAT on M-Pesa, Airtel Money

Kenya’s National Assembly has rejected a proposal in the Finance Bill 2026 that sought to introduce Value Added Tax (VAT) on M-Pesa and Airtel Money.
