Matt Baugh OBE has been appointed British High Commissioner to Kenya, succeeding Neil Wigan OBE, who left in August 2025 to take up a new role at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in London. Baugh’s diplomatic career includes postings in Mogadishu and Brussels.
