Deputy Chief Executive of Forestry Commission and Spokesperson of NAIMOS, Elikem Kotoko, has suggested that Ghana may have reached a critical point where the use of tougher measures, including brute force, may be necessary to effectively clamp down on illegal mining (galamsey).
